Now that Summer is officially over and Fall is in full swing, we’re here to share a little bucket list of things to do to celebrate this season.
I don’t know about you, but I usually spend Autumn thinking about Christmas and preparing for the holiday season. Let’s do things differently this year!
Fall Bucket List
1. Binge Gilmore Girls
It’s hard to explain, but Gilmore Girls truly gives off pure Fall vibes. Whether you’ve watched it 100 times already, or you’re looking for something new to watch – Gilmore Girls is the perfect Autumn watch.
2. Forest Walk Kicking Leaves
Summer weather may be over, but there’s no reason we can’t still enjoy the outdoors. Head to your nearest forest and enjoy the beautiful colours of the leaves – crunch, kick and jump!
3. Make Pumpkin Soup
Switch up your meals this Autumn and challenge yourself a little with a delicious pumpkin soup recipe. I once made pumpkin soup as a kid in school and it was fun and tasty!

4. Get a Pumpkin Spice Latte
The best thing about Fall may just be the season of the Pumpkin Spice Latte. Starbucks started this tasty trend, but almost every coffee shop has hoped on the trend! Fancy making it yourself at home? Follow this super easy BBC Good Food recipe;

5. Visit a Farmers Market
Even though Farmers Markets are an all-year-round occasion, they always feel extra special and festive during Fall. Search for the nearest one to you and support some independent farmers, artists, and more!
6. Get Out Your Fall Wardobe
Jumper season is HERE! It’s time to pull out all your cute and cozy clothes that often hide in the back of our wardrobes throughout the summer. Need a wardrobe refresh? Head to your local charity shops/thrift stores to pick up some cute Autumn jumpers.
7. Listen to Red (Taylor’s Version)
Would it really be an All Too Creative blog post if we didn’t mention Taylor Swift? I think we can all agree 1989 and Lover are summer albums and folklore and evermore are winter albums, but Red truly is the epitome of Autumn. Stream Red (Taylor’s Version) now (whilst we patiently wait for 1989 TV)!
8. Throw a Friendsgiving
Thanksgiving is a widely celebrated occasion in the U.S., but why not try a Friendsgiving? Even if you’re not American, invite your friends around for a cozy dinner night. Get everyone to bring their own little dish and share!
9. Visit a Pumpkin Patch
Whether you enjoy carving pumpkins or not, visiting pumpkin patches is a great way to get into the Autumn mood. There are so many this time of year and they’re usually free to enter! They also normally sell other bits like candles, jumpers and other grown vegetables.
10. Get Ready for the Black Friday Deals
Autumn also means one other thing – Black Friday is approaching. Get yourself prepped early and think about what bargains you want to get your hands on. Check out TechRadar’s great guideline to Black Friday 2023;

11. Light a Fall Scented Candle
Candles are the perfect way to feel cozy, even all year long, but why not pick up some Fall scented ones this season? Whether you go big with Yankee Candle’s Autumn collection or pick up a cute one from the mall, find your scent and get cozy.

12. Host a Cozy Games Night
I’m a sucker for a good board game and looove playing them with friends and family (maybe I’m a little too competitive). Get your friends together and play a few board games with cozy blankets, Autumn candles and good food.
13. Go Apple Picking
Harvesting and apple picking is huge this season. Find your local orchard and pick some up! Normally you can get your hands on some other fruits and vegetables too.
14. Have a Bonfire
As the weather gets a little colder, why not host a bonfire to keep warm? Whether you go rogue in the wilderness or host a little campfire in your garden, invite some people round and enjoy this time of year. You could even coincide this with Friendsgiving, board games, etc.
15. Take a Scenic Drive
To truly relish in the Autumn season and pretend like you’re in the All Too Well short film, take a scenic drive and enjoy the incredibly beautiful Fall scenery.
16. Listen to a Fall Playlist
As I’m writing this post, I’m blasting a bunch of Spotify’s Fall playlists. So many songs are so incredibly Autumn coded, check out a playlist here;
17. Create an Fall Wreath
Who says wreaths are just for Christmas? If you don’t decorate for Halloween, this is a great alternative. You can either make one yourself at home or buy one ready to hang up.
18. Take up Knitting
This may take a while to get the hang of, but knitting just feels so cozy and Autumn-y for some reason. There’s a whole world of knitting tutorials online, why not get started now?
19. Rent a Cabin
If you have a little more budget to work with, you could go all out and rent a cabin. Something about cabins just feels so cozy, especially if you’re in the woods. Airbnb is a great place to start looking.
20. Have a Fall Movie Marathon
Last week, I made a full list of horror films to watch this October – but what if you don’t celebrate Halloween? We’ve got you! There are sooo many movies simply set in Fall that will give you all the cozy vibes you need. Check out this list;

If you do like horror, check out last week’s blog post
Are you feeling the Fall vibes yet?
Fall is full of beautiful colours and a plethora of activities. It’s a season we should all enjoy before the chaos of Christmas.
I thought I’d break up this month’s Halloween content with something religious readers will enjoy! Let us know in the comments what you do to enjoy Autumn if you don’t celebrate Halloween.
with love,
