Coachella 2024 weekend one has just wrapped and as we eagerly await weekend two, let’s take a look at some of the best celebrity and influencer looks. The music should be the biggest part of Coachella, but it’s also all about giving some incredible outfits. As A list celebs and our favourite influencers headed to Indio California over the weekend, we just knew the looks would be jaw-dropping.
Sabrina Carpenter
Sabrina Carpenter absolutely ruled Coachella this year. Her set was the epitome of ‘pop star’ and she even sang her new single ‘Espresso‘, which is quickly becoming a fan favourite. Sabrina has a super flirty, fun, and feminine style that she certainly brought to the stage over the weekend. The ‘Jesus was a Carpenter’ shirt pokes fun at the controversy surrounded the music video for ‘Feather‘ that was shot in a church.
Tara Yummy
Tara Yummy, quite literally the people’s princess, has broken all stereotypes of influencers wearing bad outfits to Coachella. Her looks felt familiar to what she’d wear on the daily, but with a more elevated style. She recently posted a TikTok talking about how fun it is to dress up and really emphasise your style at festivals. Tara’s outfits never disappoint – keep slaying girlie.
Reneé Rapp
This was Reneé’s first year performing at Coachella since her big break in Mean Girls (2024) and the success of her debut studio album Snow Angel. Reneé’s fan base has quickly grown over the last years, so everyone was gassed to see her perform. She kept it pretty much classic Reneé in a simple and baggy outfit, but we’re so obsessed with everything she does so of course she made our list.
Kesha
During Renee Rapp’s set, she brought Kesha out to sing ‘Tik Tok’. Surrounding P Diddy’s current controversies, they changed the lyrics to ‘f**k P-Diddy’–two legends, we stan. This was Kesha’s only on stage appearance at weekend one, but she wore an ‘I AM MOTHER’ crop top and some blue shorts. The outfit was super simple, yet it’s an incredibly iconic message.
Madeleine White
Madeleine White, TikTok star, has quickly risen to fame over the last few years. People love her quirky personality and, of course, her incredible style that she shares with viewers everyday. So, it’s no surprise that Madeleine totally rocked the Coachella vibe, even dedicating some looks to Taylor Swift.
Chappell Roan
Chappell made her Coachella debut this year and absolutely killed it. How great is it to see an artist growing so quickly? Her hair and makeup was do die for, with fans dubbing her this generation’s Lady Gaga. Chappell is extravagant, out there, and expresses herself with such pride. We can’t wait to see what she does next.
Ella Thomas
“Love Island” star Ella Thomas put so many average influencer looks to shame this year. Following her recent split from boyfriend Tyrique, who she came third place in “Love Island” with, she’s really here to slay and looks like she’s living her best life. The contrast between an all white look on day one and an all black look on day two is everything.
Lana Del Rey
Lana fans were dubbing this year ‘Lanachella’, as everyone was so excited to see her perform. She brought the baby blue sparkle in various outfits and just looked so jaw-dropping. During her set, she surprised the crowd and brought out Billie Eilish. The pair sang Lana’s ‘Video Games’ and Billie’s ‘Ocean Eyes’ together. The collab we never knew we needed!
Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce
This year’s power couple, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, attended Coachella weekend one but kept things super lowkey. Taylor wasn’t performing at Coachella, so the couple went as guests. They looked super loved up watching other artists perform, wearing casual but very Coachella-esque outfits.
Here’s an article to keep you tied over til next week (p.s. it’s a hint for next week’s theme… any guesses?)
